Turkey's transmission system operator BOTAS increased its gas-transmission tariffs by 24.22% for the 2022 gas year. The transmission tariff, including entry-exit capacity fee and transmission service charge, increased to 81.88 TL/kcsm from 65.92 TL/kcsm.
The transmission tariffs were increased 3.2% for 2021 in late 2020.
BOTAS also increased the entry-capacity fee by 34.26% and the exit fee by 23.65% while raising the transmission service charge by 24.42%. Therefore, the share of entry and exit costs increased to 70.73% in the overall transmission tariff.
